11th JDC
The 11th JDC continued to utilize the case management system in place. The judge, hearing officer, and law clerk meet weekly, if not daily, to discuss pending decisions and judgments that are due to ensure that all cases submitted have been ruled upon in a timely manner. Additionally, whenever an agreement is placed on the record, the judge gives the attorneys a date certain by which to have the written judgment submitted to the court. If the written judgment is not submitted by the due date, the attorneys must appear in court to tell the judge why it has not been submitted. This process has eliminated judgments not being filed.
19th JDC
The clerk of court is introducing a new case management system and has sought input from judges and court employees along the way.
22nd JDC
The 22nd JDC invested in software in connection with Clerk of Court's move to paperless office/record. Software is being developed in this ongoing project.
37th JDC
The court calendar and jail list are used to monitor cases.
38th JDC
The 38th JDC used status conferences on complex litigation and used a Special Master for complex discovery issues.
East Baton Rouge Family Court
East Baton Rouge Family Court used electronic signatures for judges and the clerk of court electronic filing system.
Orleans Parish Civil District Court
Orleans Parish Civil District Court tracked filings and age of caseloads through case management and E-Bench.
