CROWLEY CITY COURT
The judge regularly attended more CLE than required, receiving the eight carryover CLE hours plus every year.
FRANKLIN CITY COURT
The court created and studied the program of Genesis, Inc. for treatment of drug and alcohol addition in lieu of jail sentencing.
JEANERETTE CITY COURT
Due to high turnover during the past two years in public defenders assigned to the court, the court held several meetings with office staff, prosecutors, and the Public Defender to reorganize docketing, and discovery practices.
JEFFERSON PARISH 2ND PARISH COURT
The court improved the Court Management System by identifying related cases in order to educate individuals on what information and documentation must be produced at hearings.
NEW ORLEANS MUNICIPAL AND TRAFFIC COURT
The judges read law journals and articles on criminal justice reform.
VIDALIA CITY COURT
The judge made use of the Louisiana Supreme Court mentor program.
ZACHARY CITY COURT
The judge attended most judges conferences, which were generally very informative.
