1st Circuit | Members of the court and key staff attended CLE coursework offered by the Louisiana Judicial College, to improve legal writing skills. |
2nd Circuit | The court achieved clarity of decisions and the conformity of court opinions through a formal opinion circulation process ad exchange of editorial comments, and review for compliance to Rule 2-16. |
3rd Circuit | The court continued to update the citation handbook to ensure that the citations and form of opinions are uniform. The court continued to follow the publication guidelines established by Rule 2-16, Uniform Rules Courts of Appeal. The court also maintained and updated its own citation handbook. |
4th Circuit | The court scheduled an opinion writing workshop in January 2019 for law clerks and central staff. |
