2nd JDC
The court and clerk of court have forms available for self-represented litigants.
4th JDC
The judges held discussions regarding working with self-represented litigants in judges meetings.
5th JDC
The court referred self-represented litigants to legal service corporations.
7th JDC
The court trained staff and Judges on working with self-represented litigants by using DVDs provided by the LDJA Self-Represented Litigants Committee.
9th JDC
The court began a pilot phase wherein hearing officer conferences were provided to domestic or family law members when one or both of the parties is self-represented. The hearing officer, an MSW, offers these conferences in effort to move these matters quickly in an environment easier for self-represented litigants to understand and navigate to ultimately resolve the dispute.
15th JDC
The 15th JDC assisted the Lafayette Volunteer Lawyers by helping to update their forms. Family Court law clerks, hearing officers, and the Family Court drug court administrator prepare judgments for self-represented litigants to expedite bringing their cases to conclusion.
16th JDC
St. Martin Parish Family Court Program regularly refers persons needing assistance to the Lafayette Parish Bar Self-Help kiosk. The program provides self-represented-litigant forms for custody and child support, as well as information on the Self-Represented Litigants Campaign.The St. Martin Parish district court receptionist provides forms and information to court users upon request. Also, signs are posted from the Self-Represented Litigants Campaign in high traffic areas of the St. Martin Parish courthouse.

The courts drafted forms for use in family court.
24th JDC
The 24th Judicial District Court enlisted the help of the Pro Bono Project to staff a help desk for self-represented litigants for domestic matters.
27th JDC
Monthly, the court appoints a lawyer in civil domestic litigation for self-represented litigants.
29th JDC
Forms are available on line through the Clerk of Court's website as well as the 29th Judicial District Bar Association website. Forms are also available in the Clerk of Court's office to assist self-represented litigants. Southeast LA Legal Services maintains an Access to Justice Help Desk at the St. Charles Community CARE Center Foundation, Inc., a local non-profit agency where self-represented litigants are referred for legal advice and services.

All litigants in East Baton Rouge Juvenile Court are assigned representation.
Jefferson Parish Juvenile Court
The court uses an updated website and online forms, some translated into Spanish.
Orleans Parish Civil District Court
The court provides a fully staffed Self-Help Desk, Monday - Friday 9am - 3pm.
